Mentorship - Crème Café's Martin Nguyen

I met Martin Nguyen in 2022, when he was in concept phase, looking to start his own business. At the time, he had been working as an employee at Regina's local ice cream specialty shop, Dandy's Artisan Ice Cream. Martin was ready to start his own dessert shop; specializing with his expertise as a french pastry chef. We discussed his vision while I was an advisor at SK Startup Institute, and as usual, I encouraged him to put together a business plan and we began the journey.

Fast forward many meetings later, a formal mentorship through Futurpreneur, and I received an invitation to the grand opening of his first location Crème Café and Pâtisserie, in Windsor Park, Regina.

A second location and three years of operations under his belt, I am proud to showcase Martin and his family business for thriving and becoming one of the local gems in the city. Be sure to check out their Instagram page and support this local gem of a shop.

As a product recommend, I strongly recommend trying the Vietnamese styled coffees. Martin grew up on a coffee and cocoa bean tree farm and has local expertise in working with these products in addition to his tasty pastries!
